On Nov. 10, Premier Pallister and Dr. Roussin (Chief Public Health Officer) announced that effective Thursday, Nov. 12, all of Manitoba is being placed into Critical Level – Red within Manitoba’s Pandemic Response System.  There are no announced changes to the operation of schools at this time, with the exception of a suspension of after school extra-curriculars, including athletic activities. Although our region is currently in the (Restricted) Orange level in the provincial pandemic response system, MVSD is doing some forward-planning to determine how many Critical Service Worker (CSW) families within the school division will need their child(ren) to attend school in the event we experience a Critical (Red) response level.
