Balanced Day Information

Barker School has changed to a Balanced Day Schedule. The Balanced School Day organizes the school day into three instructional blocks of 100 minutes each and two nutritional/exercise breaks. The start and end times to the school day do not need to change when using the Balanced School Day, as the length of the nutrition/exercise breaks can be adjusted. There is no change to the number of teaching minutes per day, nor to the total number of recess minutes per day, just fewer transition times and increased learning time.
